Our company Africa Ecco Safaris (Pty) Ltd is registered in Botswana and has been operating since 2007. Chris and Letty started the company and developed it into a thriving locally based and owned safari venture. Our main objective is to provide our clients with an unforgettable and unique African safari.

Chris Hatshe, professional guide and owner of Afrika Ecco Safaris

Chris Montshonyane Hatshe

Chris was born in Xaxaba - in the heart of the Okavango Delta. For 25 years he has been gathering vast experience working in several renowned safari companies as a guide and manager, preparing him for his own operation.

Chris is a licensed professional guide, who knows the immense wilderness of the Okavango Delta as few others. The Delta is his home - in the literal sense.

Letlhogonolo Hatshe

Chris's wife Letlhogonolo, known as Letty, has a lot of experience as administrative clerk and as selling, marketing and financial advisor.

Together, Chris and Letty are the owners, directors and managers of Africa Ecco Safaris. This smiling couple is one of many changing the landscape of the tourism industry in Botswana - developing and promoting the locally owned safari business.

Letta is the beautiful and ever helpful Afrika Ecco Safaris resident reservation officer.
